About the author.

James Brown has transitioned from active close protection duties to a role as a security consultant, swapping the front lines for a desk. With a career spanning over 30 years as a Close Protection Officer, he has safeguarded a diverse clientele, including celebrities, royalty, affluent businessmen, and the ultra-wealthy.

In 1988, he established Excel Protection, a renowned close protection agency and training school in Europe. Under his guidance, the school produced bodyguards who have provided security for members of the British Royal Family and international celebrities.
